Terms & Conditions
GC Printshop (GC Graphics) · Trade Printing Services · Last updated 18 August 2026
These terms apply to trade printing services supplied to registered printers, print resellers, designers and advertising agencies. This is a business-to-business service.
1. Nature of Service
GC Printshop (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides trade printing and finishing services exclusively to printers, print resellers, designers and advertising agencies. This is a business-to-business (B2B) service. We do not accept orders from the general public through this portal.
2. Eligibility & Registration
- Access to our services is available only to printers and print businesses registered with us.
- Registration is subject to verification and approval by GC Printshop at our sole discretion. We may request business proof such as a GSTIN, shop/firm registration, visiting card or premises details.
- Where it applies to your account, a one-time non-refundable registration charge of ₹500 is payable at the time of registration. This charge covers account verification, rate-card setup and portal access. It is not levied on every account — we will tell you at the time of approval whether it applies to yours.
- Your User ID will be activated after approval and, where a registration charge applies, after receipt of that charge. Until activation, no orders can be placed.
- We reserve the right to decline any registration without assigning a reason.
3. Account & Login
- Your User ID and password are personal to your firm and must not be shared with any third party.
- You are responsible for all orders placed through your ID. Any order received from your ID will be treated as authorised by you.
- Please notify us immediately if you suspect misuse of your account.
- We may suspend or cancel an ID in the case of misuse, non-payment, sharing of trade rates with end customers, or repeated cancellation of confirmed jobs.
4. Artwork & Customer Files
- All files must be supplied print-ready in the sizes, bleed and colour mode specified in our file guidelines.
- You are responsible for checking spelling, numbers, contact details, layout, size and colour before releasing a job for print. We print the file as supplied.
- We do not accept responsibility for errors already present in the file supplied or the proof approved by you.
- Design, correction, re-sizing or file-fixing work, where carried out by us, may be charged separately.
- You confirm that you hold the rights to all logos, images and content supplied, and you remain responsible for any copyright or trademark claim arising from that content.
5. Sample / Test Print (Recommended)
Where a job is colour-critical or media-critical, the customer may request a single test print and approve it before the full run is produced. Once a test print is approved, the full quantity will be produced to match that approved sample, and no claim will be entertained on the ground of colour or finish variation.
6. Production Capacity & Turnaround
- We operate two production machines in-house — one Digital Printing machine and one Flex Printing machine — supported by a full range of finishing equipment.
- Turnaround times quoted are estimates only and start after the artwork is received in correct format and the required payment/approval is in place.
- Delivery time may vary depending on job volume, machine load, material availability, finishing requirements and factors beyond our control.
- The delivery date and mode for each order will be notified to you separately at the time of order confirmation or through the portal.
- Delays alone do not entitle a customer to a refund, unless the delay is caused solely by us and the job is subsequently cancelled by mutual agreement.
7. Colour & Material Variation
- Printed colour output varies with the media/substrate used (paper, sticker, vinyl, flex, board, etc.) and with the colour profile of the file supplied by the customer.
- Slight or light variation in shade, tone and density between screen and print, between media, and between separate print runs is normal in printing and is not treated as a defect.
- Customers who require exact colour matching are advised to take a test print under Clause 5.
8. Quality Claims, Reprint & Refund
See the Refund Policy for the full detail. In summary:
- A refund or reprint is offered in the case of a genuine quality issue attributable to us — for example a printing defect, material defect, wrong size, wrong quantity, wrong media, or output that does not match an approved test print.
- Where there is a drastic colour variation — clearly beyond the normal, light variation described in Clause 7 — we will reprint the job or refund the amount, at our option and after inspection.
- Claims must be reported within 2 days of delivery, with photographs, and the affected material may be required to be returned to us for inspection.
- In all cases our liability is limited to the invoice value of the affected job. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or claims made against you by your own customer.
9. Rates & Payment
- Rates quoted are trade rates, available only to approved registered members, and are confidential to your account.
- Rates are subject to revision with prior intimation, and may change if the specification, quantity, media or finishing is altered after quotation.
- All rates are exclusive of GST unless expressly stated otherwise; applicable GST will be charged at prevailing rates.
- Payment terms (advance, part-payment or credit) are as agreed for your account. Jobs may be held or delivery withheld where dues are outstanding.
10. Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled only before production begins. Once printing has commenced or material has been cut/purchased specifically for the job, the order cannot be cancelled and the full amount remains payable.
11. Delivery & Collection
- Delivery arrangements, timing and mode will be notified at the time of order confirmation.
- Transport, courier or freight charges, where applicable, are payable by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
- Risk in the goods passes to the customer on hand-over to the customer, their representative or the transporter.
- Goods should be checked at the time of receipt.
12. Confidentiality
Artwork and files supplied by you are used solely for the execution of your order and are not disclosed to any third party. Files may be retained for a reasonable period for the purpose of repeat orders and are not otherwise used.
13. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate a registered ID at any time for breach of these terms, non-payment, misuse of the portal, or conduct damaging to our business. The registration charge is not refundable in such cases.
14. Amendment of Terms
These terms may be amended from time to time. The version published at the time of your order shall apply to that order.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ballari, Karnataka.
